The Patient Advocacy Council, Inc. (PAC), Institutional Review Board is composed of members with the diversity of backgrounds needed to ensure comprehensive assessment of clinical investigations. The Board is represented by viewpoints from the medical, scientific, ethical, community and administrative areas.
The Board is versed in the concepts of ethical research in terms of regulations, applicable laws, standards of professional conduct and practice, and the effects on the community. All Board members undergo thorough training on regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines for conducting ethical clinical trials.
